Trade shows are a great way to bring your company into the spotlight and hunt down potential clients. However, with the growing competition, it is getting harder to attract a crowd that remains enrapt and at the same time reinforces your interests.

No doubt the audience at the Trade Shows mean business but, that does not imply that they are going to stop at your booth. Similarly, even if they do, there is a very small chance they will remember you after visiting a hundred other booths. Thus, you must adopt a strategy that helps you stand out at Trade Shows.

Here is a list of things that you can do to attract prospective clients:

  1. A Giveaway Contest

Giveaway contests are crowd pleasers; they will help you gain attention. If you’re looking to market a certain product, use it for the giveaway. Otherwise, you can give out prize packs, vouchers or gift cards.

  1. Don’t go for something Generic

90% of the booths are decorated in black and white. Being this cliché doesn’t allow you to standout. You blend in very easily and are forgotten just as easily. Step up your game by using different colors, images and product displays.

  1. Send Emails in Advance

Go through the list of people you believe will attend the Trade Show and give them a heads up a day or two before the event. You will not only have some of the most important people visiting your booth in fact, the numbers will attract the general audience as well

  1. Start up Early

If you don’t hype up your booth is advance, the turn out might disappoint you. You must have a pre-show strategy; be interactive, spread the word on social media and allow attendees to book an appointment.

Put yourself in your clients’ shoes; understand what they might be looking for. Build an interactive relationship with them and learn to plan ahead.
